Shari Baker

Shari Baker is a 5th year teacher in Prince George’s County Public Schools, located in Maryland.  Shari teaches AP Psychology, Women’s Studies, and World History and serves on the Student Management and Planning Team of High Point High School. As a member of the 2010 cohort of the Woodrow Wilson-Rockefeller Brothers Foundation Fellowship for Teachers of Color, Shari earned her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Minority and Urban Education from the University of Maryland-College Park in 2012, and also holds an undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University. Shari recently began her Ed.D. in Curriculum, Teaching, and Teacher Education at the University of Florida.
