Mark L. Brockman is a 2014 Woodrow Wilson Ohio Teaching Fellow attending graduate school at the University of Dayton. After earning his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, Mark began a 17-year career in the defense industry. Focusing on first-generation college students and nontraditional students, he pursued his love for teaching as a Math instructor at Purdue and more recently at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. For nearly a decade, he has worked closely with high school students in the Youth Ministry program at church, and served as a middle school Science Olympiad coach.
